Sound Shore St. Patrick's Day Parade in Mamaroneck Set for March 22

The Sound Shore St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Mamaroneck will be held Sunday, March 22, with Grand Marshal Bob McCooey Jr.

The parade runs along Mamaroneck Avenue and begins at 1:30 p.m.

McCooey, an active volunteer, philanthropist and fixture in the community, has served on the board of Iona Preparatory School, the Holy Cross Leadership Council and St. Vincent’s Hospital, Westchester, according to parade organizers.

He also serves on the board of Youth INC, a New York City-based non-profit that serves thousands of children each year. Additionally, McCooey is a past board member of the Resurrection School Foundation.
