A Spooky Weekend Ahead For Larchmont And Mamaroneck

A potion for fun calls for equal parts Ragamuffin Parade, Village Spooktacular, pumpkin painting, bubbles and eye of newt.

LARCHMONT/MAMARONECK, NY — You might encounter an unusual number of goblins and zombies in the area this weekend as terrifying and adorable pre-Halloween festivities get into full swing.

The Village of Larchmont's Annual Ragamuffin Parade will be held on Saturday, at 3 p.m. sharp, rain or shine. The village says that it has monitored the forecast and decided that the event will still be held with a DJ dance party afterwards. However, the usual serving of hot dogs has been canceled. The line-up will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the corner of Larchmont Ave. and Palmer Ave. This year's parade is co-sponsored by the Larchmont Professional Fire Fighters Association.
