Suzi Oppenheimer of Mamaroneck Honored by UJA-Federation

Mamaroneck resident Suzi Oppenheimer received the Phyllis V. Tishman Award for her leadership and dedicated service to the community at UJA-Federation of New York's Annual New York Lions Lunch on November 13, 2018, at The Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City.

Nearly 500 women attended the event, which also recognized Emily Gindi of the Upper East Side and Erika S. Witover of Oyster Bay. Deborah Lipstadt, Dorot Professor of Modern Jewish History and Holocaust Studies at Emory University, gave the keynote address.

In New York, a woman who gives a gift of $6,000 or more, individually or as a family, to UJA-Federation's annual campaign is recognized as a Lion.
