'A Taste of Larchmont' Set for May 2
The fund-raising, restaurant crawl event is hosted by Julia B. Fee Sotheby's International Realty and My Sisters' Place.

Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty is partnering with My Sisters’ Place to host a fund-raising “A Taste of Larchmont” restaurant crawl from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on May 2.
Proceeds will benefit My Sisters’ Place, which is a Westchester County-based organization that works to fight domestic violence. The group helps victims while also “focusing on community education and prevention.” Additionally, My Sisters’ Place also combats human trafficking throughout Westchester County, and offers advocacy, shelter and legal services to those in need.
“Peace in the world begins with peace at home. The services My Sisters’ Place provides are deeply important in achieving peace and ending domestic violence in our communities, and it is an honor for us to support them,” said Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty Larchmont brokerage manager Carolyn Fugere in a statement. “I am also grateful that such an impressive selection of Larchmont restaurants and merchants are rallying to the cause.”

The real estate brokerage is selling tickets to the event for $50, and will also make its own donation. Additional funds will be raised through a company-held silent auction, featuring items donated from local Larchmont merchants.
Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty hosted a similar event in Rye in 2014, and raised more than $30,000 for My Sisters’ Place. The company hopes to raise even more during its May event.

Purchase of a ticket allows participants to “sip, snack and stroll,” gaining them a drink and a specially prepared appetizer by the chef at each of seven restaurants featured on the tasting tour, including Coriander, Encore Bistro, Polpettina, Anna-Maria’s, Sherwood’s, Apiary, and Auray Gourmet and Post Wine & Spirits, where a joint offering of wine and cheese will be provided. The Larchmont Chamber of Commerce plans to donate a trolley to take visitors around the village throughout the day, as well as provide transportation to and from the train station.
Tickets can be purchased online here, and exchanged for a wristband at the company’s Larchmont brokerage, located at 1946 Palmer Avenue, on Friday, May 1 or Saturday, May 2 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
