Thanksgiving 2015: What's Open, What's Closed in Larchmont and Mamaroneck
See what's open and what's closed in Larchmont and Mamaroneck on Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday.

Thanksgiving Day is here. It’s also the start of the holiday season.
This year, like last year, we only have 28 days between Thanksgiving and Christmas so you’ll have to cram in your shopping in a four-week period.
Thanksgiving will be observed on Thursday, Nov. 26 this year. Below we have a list of early Wednesday closings, what’s open and closed on the Thanksgiving holiday, as well as town offices that are also closed on Friday, Nov. 27.
- What’s closed:
- Mamaroneck Union Free Schools and all school offices are closed Thursday & Friday
- Both town and village offices for Mamaroneck and Larchmont are closed Thursday & Friday
- Post Offices
- Mamaroneck and Larchmont libraries
- Most banks
- All courts and state and federal government offices
What’s open:
Check with individual restaurants and retailers.
Metro-North Railroad will have additional trains running into and out of Grand Central Terminal before and after the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Click below for the train schedule.
