TOM Police Blotter: Assault, Attempted Burglary

July 22 — Adam Steinberg, 22, of Carol Lane was charged with second-degree assault for attacking a 20-year old Mamaroneck resident.  The attack occurred on Thursday and the victim reported it to police on Friday.

July 25 — An unknown person left the scene of an auto accident on Highridge Lane in Larchmont. The damage was to a Byron Road resident's 2009 Subaru Outback Sport. The investigation is ongoing.

July 27 — A burglary attempt was made on a Forest Avenue home. An unknown perpetrator broke the window screen. The investigation is ongoing.

July 28 — A Myrtle Boulevard resident reported that someone hit and damaged his 2000 Hyundai Elantra. No suspects were found.
