Torino Market to Be Renovated and Reopened
Uncle Giuseppe's, a Long-Island-based business, owns the market, which used to be an A&P.

Food shoppers traveling to Torino Market in nearby New Rochelle can turn around and head some place else.
After a huge banner proclaiming a renovation sale was taken down, the only signage at the market on Pelham Road in New Rochelle said that it was closed.
Cheryl Rosario, spokeswoman for Uncle Giuseppe's which owns the supermarket, said Monday that the store was closed for renovations.
"We want to give it a fresh new look and new equipment," she said.
Rosario couldn't provide any information about when the store would reopen.
"We just don't have a set date yet," she said.
The store is located where the former A&P was. Uncle Giuseppe's took it over in March 2012 as a Key Food. In July 2012, it was renamed Torino Market.
At the time, officials said renovations would take place while the store was open.
