3rd Annual Halloween Candy Exchange and Toy Drive Business Mixer

All kids love Halloween and the sacks of candy they collect while trick or treating. But sacks of Halloween candy do not love kids with pediatric diabetes. So to promote a healthy and safe Halloween for the patients served by The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx, a post-Halloween Candy Exchange Party is hosted by Rye resident Dr. Rubina Heptula, Division Chief Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes, and her staff, at the Bronx healthcare facility. Kids turn in their bags of candy and are rewarded with brand new toys collected by Stetson Real Estate, Mamaroneck, and other supporters. Joining Stetson’s 3rd Annual Halloween Toy Drive is Miller’s Toys, a Mamaroneck institution since 1948.
To encourage as large of a toy collection, as possible, Stetson is hosting a Business Mixer, October 28, for suppliers to the real estate industry, from attorneys to yard maintenance companies. Guests are invited to help underwrite the cost of the toys that will be on display at the business mixer, or to bring in a brand new toy of their choice. There is no cost to attend the event.
