Upgrades To Sewage Pump Station Irk Mamaroneck Residents, Others
Some say a 10-foot high pipe should be screened so it can't be seen.

MAMARONECK, NY — Homeowners, village officials and county lawmakers are not wild about sewage pump station upgrades that could make the facility a waterfront eyesore.
The facility is scheduled to get a new 10-foot high metal pipe, and according to an article at the Journal News, people who live near it want it to be reduced in size or screened from view.
County officials said the upgrades are necessary and must be above ground.
