Village and Town of Mamaroneck Police Blotter
Between the Village and Town of Mamaroneck, there were 13 arrests last week.

Between, Monday, Jan. 11, and Sunday, Jan. 17, the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department reported the following incidents:
- Property damage: On Jan. 17, at approximately 7:29 a.m., it was reported that a 22-year-old male from the Village had damaged another resident's property while intoxicated, according to police reports. The suspect was arrested and taken to the Town of Mamaroneck to be arraigned. He was charged with criminal mischief in the third degree.
- Driving While Intoxicated case: On Jan. 17, at approximately 4:23 a.m., a police officer stopped a driver for committing a traffic infraction. The driver, a 34-year-old man from Harrison, was then arrested for DWI and taken to the police station, where he was tested, processed and released. The man's vehicle was impounded.

- Identity theft: On Jan. 15, a village resident filed an identity theft report. The victim stated that her credit card had been used to open two accounts in New Jersey two days earlier. The investigation continues.
- Larceny: On Jan. 14, at approximately 8 a.m., a village resident reported that all four tires had been stolen from his vehicle, which was parked in a garage at 413 Warren Ave. The investigation continues.

- Downed wire: On Jan. 12, police reported to Grand Street on a report of a downed wire and determined that it was a cable wire. A vehicle that had been tangled in the cable was released and the condition was corrected by the cable company.

The Town of Mamaroneck Police Department reported:
- Arrest for leaving the scene of an auto accident: On Jan. 15, at approximately 3:39 a.m., it was reported that an abandoned vehicle had been found in the middle of Weaver Street, near Lakewood Lane. The witness advised that he had seen a male fleeing from the vehicle, heading northbound on foot. The vehicle had struck a stone wall at 705 Weaver St., according to police reports, and caused property damage. The homeowner was notified. The driver later responded to police headquarters, denied being the driver and refused further statement. The witness identified the suspect as the same person he saw fleeing the accident scene. He was arrested for leaving the scene of an auto accident, police said.
- School trespassing and drug possession: On Jan. 11, at approximately 11:55 a.m., two young men, one of them a juvenile, were arrested for unlawfully entering Central School at 1100 Palmer Ave. They were both charged with criminal trespassing, but the older suspect, a 21-year-old male from the Village of Mamaroneck, was also charged with harassment in the second degree for harassing a school official and unlawful possession of marihuana, officials said.
- Arrest for possessing forged documents: On Jan. 11, at approximately 3:52 p.m., it was reported that a 24-year-old male from the Bronx tried to use forged New York State Benefit and Metro Plus Health Plan ID cards at the CVS Pharmacy on 1310 Boston Post Rd. The suspect was arrested and charged with criminal possession of forged documents.
Last week, the Town of Mamaroneck Police Department reported a total of 7 motor vehicle accidents.
