Volunteers Needed For Hommocks Conservation Area Annual Fall Cleanup
This year, the special day for taking care of Mother Nature in the Town of Mamaroneck will coincide with International Coastal Cleanup Day.

MAMARONECK, NY — The leaves will be turning soon and football season is heating up, but first, it's time for the annual Fall Cleanup in the Town of Mamaroneck.
The town is looking for volunteers to help get the Hommocks Conservation Area back to its natural beauty, as part of International Coastal Cleanup Day.
The event will take place Saturday, September 17, from 10 a.m. - noon.

Parking for Hommocks Conservation Area is across from 510 Hommocks Road.
Volunteers are asked to wear long pants and boots or sneakers (no open-toed shoes) and to bring their own gloves and bug spray. Gloves will also be provided, along with trash bags, drinking water and snacks from Trader Joe's.
