Johanson qualified for the Federation tournament final in both the 200 and 500 freestyle, where she finished fifth and third, respectively. It was the second straight year she finished in the top 10 in the state in both events, and also the second straight year she was undefeated in both the regular season and the sectional tournaments. The junior, who has been a varsity swimmer since seventh grade, set school records in both events.

A strong attacker with incredible game sense, Rush finished tied for 11th in Section 1 girls lacrosse with 75 goals and added 32 assists in just 17 games. She scored at least twice in every game and posted seven goals twice, against White Plains and John Jay. Despite being a junior, she was also voted by her teammates to be a captain, which says a lot about her leadership ability.

Stuntz recorded 17 shutouts — giving her 38 in two years. In the playoffs she shut down Niskayuna, who had scored 60 goals coming into the game, and Ward Melville, who defeated the Tigers in the 2008 state playoffs.

Gina Talt

One of the best middle distance runners in the area, Talt was the county champion in the 1,500 meters, finishing in 4 minutes, 43.57 seconds in the outdoor season She went on to post her best time in the event at the state championship meet (4:34.91) finishing ninth.
