Tired of being cooped up in your house all winter? With spring approaching right around the corner, I know many of you are looking for fun activities to do in your area! Below are a few of my favorite places to go during the warmer months. Enjoy!
AMC DINE-IN Levittown (Levittown, 0.0 mi.)
Located in the Nassau Mall, AMC Dine-In movie theater is the perfect place to have a night out with family or friends. With reserved seating, reclining seats, and dine-in delivery service to your seats you’ll feel right at home while watching the newest shows in theatres. Tickets start at $10.99 for children, and $12.49 for adults (yes, they do have a senior citizen discount too!), making an affordable and fun night out with your family or friends!

Levittown Lanes (Levittown, 0.0 mi.)
When you are faced with some chilly spring days, head over to Levittown Lanes on Tanners Lane. This bowling alley has been here for years and offers various deals each day from Ladies Bowl free, half price bowling, and POP (pay one price) for unlimited games. The fun, laid back environment is dressed with fun lighting and pop music during night bowls, catering to the younger crowds. The bowling alley even has a party room and separate bar, so you can host your own private event here!

Bethpage State Park (Bethpage, 3.6 mi.)
East of Levittown, is one of my favorite places to visit during the spring season, Bethpage State Park. Here, there are many activities for friends and families to do. Bring your kids to play on one of the fun playgrounds, grab a group of friends and start a game of kickball on the open field, or grab your bike and head down one of the many walking/biking trails. If you’re looking to take a great Instagram photo, don’t forget to bring your camera - there are many ‘picture perfect’ spots here!
Eisenhower Park (East Meadow, 3.8 mi.)
Just West of Levittown is the well-known Eisenhower Park where you can take advantage of the many walking trails, golf courses, or my personal favorite – mini golf! The 18-hole miniature golf course at Eisenhower Park, which has been named “Best of Long Island” by News 12 Long Island, has challenging holes with beautiful landscapes. As the warmer months approach, keep an eye out for live concerts and movies hosted in The Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre – the park’s outdoor theater!
Ralph’s Famous Italian Ices (Levittown, 0.0 mi.)
A true sign of Spring is the re-opening of Ralph’s Italian Ices each season. After your fun filled day taking part in one of the above activities, stop by Ralph’s to welcome in spring. With an array of desserts to choose from – from ices & sherberts to smoothies & sundaes – you’ll find a refreshing treat to satisfy your sweet tooth!
