6 Levittown High Schoolers Honored For Top Scores On PSAT/NMSQT
The students were among about 34,000 nationwide to receive commendation.
LEVITTOWN, NY — Six Levittown seniors have been recognized for their top scores in the 2018 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
Three students at Division Avenue High School and three at General Douglas MacArthur High School were among about 34,000 Commended Students nationwide in the 2020 National Merit Scholarship Program.
The students placed among the top scorers of more than 1.5 million students who entered the competition. They will not continue on in the competition, but some commended students can qualify for special business-sponsored scholarships.

The district congratulated all six students on receiving the prestigious honor.
From Division Avenue, seniors Emily Fuchs, Syed Ahmed and Ravneek Kaur were honored.
