A Local Gem: Turnpike Bagels and Deli

Turnpike Bagels and Deli has been serving Levittown quality food for over 15 years and in spite of its obvious name, this local favorite offers much more than your average delicatessen.

Opening at 4 a.m. every day, Turnpike Bagels and Deli can accommodate any early riser. During breakfast hours, the line can get a bit long, but the hardworking staff is good with speedy service.

A large selection of breakfast sandwiches are available, generally costing no more than $4 or $5. The Hungry Man Hero, a popular choice that is certainly filling, stacks three eggs, ham, bacon and cheese on hero bread. A healthier breakfast item offers three egg whites with grilled turkey on a whole wheat bagel.

Though platters are available as well, a breakfast sandwich on a bagel is highly recommended. Many frequent customers praise their bagels as the best in town. To accompany your morning meal, the deli serves freshly brewed coffee, tea, iced tea and lemonade in addition to a large selection of soft drinks.

Aside from breakfast, Turnpike Bagels and Deli has designed an appetizing menu filled with wraps, paninis, salad platters, burgers and heros. When craving a wrap, panini or hero, the grilled chicken or turkey is the way to go. Any order can be custom made with your choice of cheese, toppings and dressing. 

If you're ever home during the week and are not up to running out, Turnpike Bagels and Deli will come to you. Delivery is available Monday through Friday. Catering services are also available and are the perfect alternative to cooking for holidays or private parties.
