Generous Girls Help Neighbors in Need

When an Elm Drive North family's house caught on  last week, two neighbors took action to help.

Ashley and Marisa, two young girls who live nearby, started a food and money collection for the family, who lost their belongings and suffered severe damage to their home.

"I couldn't believe these girls were out in the bitter cold pushing the shopping cart to the house," said Frank Melaccio, an impressed community member who witnessed the girls' heroic efforts.
