Description

The hands-on atmosphere of Simon Kidgits Club Super Duper Lil Chefs will engage both parents and children in exploring the endless imaginative possibilities of pairing creativity with cuisine. The event menu offers a variety of food-focused festivities ranging from cooking demonstrations to etiquette lessons and craft-making with meal items. Other food-inspired activities include the chance to compete in a cupcake eating contest, create your own cereal necklace, build with marshmallows, decorate cookies, enjoy pretzel dipping demonstrations by Auntie Anne’s and sample foods from California Pizza Kitchen. Children with gluten allergies will be awarded the same opportunity to participate, as the event will feature separate tables for select food creations and treats, utilizing gluten-free products only.

In order to participate in the cupcake eating contest (gluten free cupcakes are being made available for the competition as well), parents must sign their kids up at Simon’s Guest Services in advance of the event. All Kidgits members will receive a special goody bag upon arrival and a free Kidgits pizza plate and pizza cutter, while supplies last.

Additionally, Simon Kidgits Club® is teaming up with Lil Chefs presenting sponsor Warner Bros. Home Entertainment for the launch of Sophia Grace & Rosie’s Royal Adventure, coming to DVD, Blu-ray™ and Digital HD Tuesday, May 20. The super-cute, talented two-some of Sophia Grace and Rosie sang and danced their way to stardom on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and now families can see the little, lovable performers in their first original live-action movie. During Lil Chefs at Smith Haven Mall, kids can participate in a tiara and cookie decorating activity and stylize their own custom designed box.  Attendees can also take part in a teacup balancing relay race and vie for candy bracelets! 

Also as part of Lil Chefs events, kids are encouraged to help those in need by bringing a non-perishable food item to Smith Haven Mall to be donated to a local food bank.
