Bethpage Golden Girls Complete Amazing Dance and Kickline Competition Season

The Bethpage Varsity Golden Girls continue their ascent among the ranks of Long Island's elite dance and kickline teams.

During the March 13 Long Island Kickline Association championships, the team landed in second place in kick with a mix of "cold" and "ice" themed songs. They earned second place in the dance category with a lyrical version of "500 Miles," and for their grand finale, they scored first place in the squad category with a mix of "royal" songs that truly showed who was queen of the dance floor.

They had a great overall season this year, placing 6th in the pom category and 7th in the squad category during the National Dance Association national competition in February.

The Bethpage Jr. Varsity Kickline also had a strong showing during the L.I.K.A. championships, with a first place finish in the kick category and a second place finish in the pom category. The girls looked sharper and sharper with each competition this season.
