Senator Hannon and Senator Michael Venditto are joining with Nassau County Legislators James Kennedy and Rose Marie Walker to sponsor a Blood Drive at the Farmingdale Public Library (116 Merritts Road, Farmingdale) on Wednesday, August 26, from 1:30 to 7:30 pm.
New York Blood Center has issued an appeal for blood donations to ensure their continued capability to serve area hospitals. Their primary concerns are their ability to meet predictable patient needs as well as any unexpected emergencies that may occur.
Long Island Blood Services will be giving out two free Mets tickets to every donor.

• Must have valid photo ID or ID with signature
• Minimum weight 110 pounds
• Between 16 and 76 years of age
• No tattoos in the past 12 months
