Long Island native Chef Jonathan Scinto spices things up in the GHR studio this Thursday and discusses with the cast his next steps into cooking on TV. Scintos passion for food started as a young boy watching beloved cooking shows like Julia Child and many other famous chefs. Later in life, Scinto perfected his craft working in restaurants, production companies and catering. Being on movie sets sparked his interest and inspired Chef Scinto to pursue and audition for cooking shows himself.

"Reality TV cooking is not even close to working in a real kitchen, " said Scinto. "It’s a different kind of pressure than creating 300 covers a night - the camera rolling pressure is very real."

Since making his TV debut Chef Scinto was on Master Chef Season 6, Food Networks Chopped, Cooking Channel, NBC, CBS, NEWS 12 Long Island, Newsday as well as many radio and podcasts around the Tri-State area and beyond. Chef Jonathan is a currently working as a Personal Chef and TV Personality and travels doing Private Dinner Parties Events, Live Cooking Demos and Celebrity Functions.
