Chris Reilly No-hitter leads Division Dragons past Great Neck North

Wednesday was a day Chris Reilly will remember forever as he threw a no-hitter in Division Dragons Varsity's victory over Great Neck North.

No Great Neck North batter was able to locate Chris' pitches during the game. Chris threw a no-hitter, striking out seven batters and walking one while recording his momentous feat. He got the final out on a strike out to end the game.

Division ran up the score, scoring runs at will until the final out. Division scored three runs in the final inning to cap the blowout win. Division scored eight runs in the third on a two-run double by Mark Martinez, an RBI single by Reilly, an RBI single by Tom Deegan, an RBI single by Adam Herbert, a two-run single by James Varela, and an RBI single by Joseph Spitaleri.

Martinez racked up three RBIs on four hits for Division Dragons Varsity.

Division hammered Great Neck North pitching as seven hitters had a field day, combining for 15 hits, 11 RBIs and 16 runs scored.

The lead stayed with Division Dragons Varsity after the first, when it scored four runs on a two-run double by Anthony Papa, a sacrifice fly by Reilly, and an RBI single by Herbert.

Division matched its three-run second inning with three more in the seventh. In the second, Division scored on a fielder's choice, scoring Joseph Spitalere.
