Christopher P. Wright Appointed to Fair Media Council Board of Directors

By a unanimous vote of the Fair Media Council Board of Directors, Protiviti Managing Director Chris Wright has been appointed a member of the board. The Fair Media Council is one of the oldest and most successful media watchdog organizations in the country.
FMC CEO Jaci Clement noted, “Chris Wright is an exceptional business and community leader. He brings a new dimension of experience to the FMC board which will help enable FMC to fulfill its growth potential.”

Mr. Wright is the Regional Managing Director for Protiviti’s Eastern United States region. He also leads Protiviti’s Finance Remediation and Reporting Compliance group. He has over 25 years of experience serving clients as an external auditor, including six years as a partner at two global accounting firms (Arthur Andersen and KPMG), and as an internal auditor and financial reporting risk consultant.
He serves on the boards of several charitable, civic, educational and business organizations. Currently, he is chair of the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Suffolk County, a member of the Nassau County Interim Finance Authority (NIFA) and a member of the Standing Committee of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island. Mr. Wright earned his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Accounting from Franciscan University. He lives in Levittown, N.Y.
