Cops Release Photo of Suspected Credit Card Thief

Stolen cards were used in several stores after they were reported missing, police said.

Nassau County Police released a surveillance photo of a person they say used credit cards that were stolen from a car in Levittown.

Cops said the subject, pictured above, was seen on camera making purchases at Stop n’ Shop and 7-Eleven in East Meadow. The purchases were made with stolen credit cards on Oct. 8, cops said.

Between 12 p.m. and 1:52 p.m. that day, the owner of the cards had left his wallet in his car on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
