Division Avenue High School Celebrates Spirit Week

The Division Avenue High School community in the Levittown Public Schools participated in Spirit Week from Dec. 7-11.

The Division Avenue High School community in the Levittown Public Schools participated in Spirit Week from Dec. 7-11. In the middle of the week, the Student Council hosted a field goal kick event. Students and faculty members took part in a friendly competition on the school’s football field to determine the greatest field goal kickers among them. Ten points were earned for every kick that made it through the uprights and extra points were awarded for distance.

Two boys and two girls, along with one faculty member per grade level represented each class during the event. To end the tournament, Christian Ramirez made a kick from the 25 yard line to secure the win for the juniors with 390 total points. The seniors earned second place with 340 points, sophomores were crowned third place winners with 140 points and freshmen took home 75 points.
