Division Dragon's offense erupts for 18 runs in victory over Roslyn

Division Dragons Varsity continued to pile up the runs on Friday, scoring six runs in the seventh inning, en route to an easy 18-3 win over Roslyn at Roslyn HS.

Division scored six runs in the seventh on an error, a sacrifice fly by Ben Levy, an RBI single by Joseph Spitalere, a hit by pitch, and a two-run single by Mark Martinez.

Joseph Spitalere went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for Division.

Anthony Papa recorded the win for Division. He allowed two earned runs over six innings. Papa struck out six, walked none and scattered six hits.

Division Dragons pounded Roslyn pitching, as six hitters combined for 12 hits, 11 RBIs and 13 runs scored.

Division pushed across six runs in both the fourth inning and the seventh. In the fourth, Division scored on a two-run double by Papa , scoring Joseph Spitalere and James Varela.

Division tacked on another three runs in the fifth. A ground out scored Joseph Spitalere to start the scoring in the inning.
