Division Dragons Varsity offense too much for Plainedge in 16-0 rout

Division Dragons Varsity refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against Plainedge, recording a 16-0 victory on Thursday at Plainedge HS.

With five runs in the first three innings, The Division Dragons left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A two-run single by Tyler Epple and an error in the first inning and a fielder's choice and an RBI single by Mark Martinez during the second inning fueled Division Dragons Varsity's offense early.

Martinez racked up six RBIs on three hits including a grand slam home run for Division.

James Varela held Plainedge scoreless for six innings. James Varela struck out six and allowed two walks and four hits.
