Pair Seriously Tries to Use Fake Money With Words 'For Motion Picture Use Only': Cops

Two 19-year-olds face charges after trying to pass fake $100 bills in Levittown.

LEVITTOWN, NY - Two women were arrested after trying to use fake $100 bills with the words “For Motion Picture Use Only” on them to make purchases at several Levittown stores on Wednesday afternoon, according to Nassau Police.

Sarah Abraham and Krystal Joushan, of Hicksville, both 19, entered several stores at 3101 North Jerusalem Road and tried to exchange fake $100 bills for real money or use the fake bills to make purchases, police said.

The duo then struck a parked car and a pedestrian with their car, causing a minor arm injury while attempting to flee the scene, police said.

The victim whose car was hit followed the two to 50 Crescent Lane, where they were placed under arrest, police said.

During the investigation, it was discovered that Abraham had used one of the bills on Tuesday at Europa Supermarket in Mineola, police said.

Abraham is charged with two counts of petty larceny.  Joushan is charged with petty larceny and two counts of leaving the scene of an accident without a report.
