Ethnic Eatery Brings a Slice of Sicily to Levittown

Sicilia Risturanti, the area's newest addition to local dining, offers an authentic combination of Sicilian culture and cuisine right here in Levittown.

Open since December, Sicilia Risturanti, located at 2715 Hempstead Turnpike, boasts a unique selection of Sicilian style lunch and dinner options to accompany a friendly meal, a romantic date or a family outing.

The dining area offers ample seating for parties of any size and a full bar offers a more casual atmosphere for those who may be dining alone or looking to unwind with a cocktail. In addition to serving lunch and dinner six days per week, Sicilia Risturanti also offers catering services for all occasions on and off premise.

Where most lunch specials run just until the early afternoon, Sicilia Risturanti extends their deal up until the start of dinner. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., patrons can take advantage of fresh salads, hero sandwiches, wraps and steaming hot soups at prices that range from $5.95 to $9.95.

Dinner can be a bit more busy at Sicilia Risturanti and with good reason. An extensive list of entree dishes are sure to satisfy your taste buds, whether you are looking to indulge in a succulent plate of seafood or a hearty pasta bowl.

Though one of the most expensive items on the menu, the Stuffed Grilled ten-ounce Black Angus Filet ($27.95) is certainly worth every penny. Filled with roasted red peppers, grated peperoncino cheese and spinach, this dish will not disappoint and with your choice of two sides, it is certainly enough to fill you up.

Other entrees that are worth a taste include more common options like the Chicken Parmigiana ($12.95) or the Chicken Cacciatore ($14.75). The Chicken Parmigiana dish is smothered in Sicilia Risturanti's homemade marinara sauce which adds an extra flavor to spice up something ordinary.

Side dishes, like Arborio Rice or Sauteed Zucchini and Tomato Sauce, are included in most entrees but can be ordered on their own as well ($5.25).
