Levittown resident Theresa Siclari will be having a presentation and book signing on her new children's book, OUCH!! I Was Attacked by Mr. Wilson's Cactus Plant, at the Book Revue in Huntington on Mar. 22 at 7 p.m.
OUCH!! I Was Attacked by Mr. Wilson's Cactus Plant is about Sammi Jo, a nine year old, who devises a plan to get her mom a great Mother's Day gift. She decides to take flowers from her neighbor Mr. Wilson's garden, but gets caught in a stolen cactus while trying to make her escape. Sammi Jo then has to tell her mother the reason she got caught in the prickly plant.
Siclari is also the author of two previous children's books, The Pond Behind Grandmother's House and The Case of the Missing Hairpin. She is currently writing a whole entire line of books focused on the Sammi Jo character.
