Villa Carmela, located in the southernmost corner of Levittown, gives patrons an extraordinary mix of homemade Italian fare and an elegant atmosphere that prides itself in great service on top of great cuisine.

Though the restaurant is small, Villa Carmela always delivers big, whether you are enjoying an authentic meal in the dining room or taking advantage of their on and off premise catering services.

From the exterior, Villa Carmela could seem a bit misleading, but don't be too quick to judge. The cozy Italian eatery has become a popular destination among residents in Levittown and the neighboring areas.

A full menu offers carefully arranged dishes for both lunch and dinner ranging from traditional pizza slices to delectable pasta dishes and seafood platters.

When dining in at Villa Carmela, be sure to come with an appetite. Entree portions are large, but you'd be wise to try out at least one appetizer between the table as well. Broccoli rabe and sausage is a rather filling starter, much like the eggplant rollatini; they are both generous enough to share between a group. Fried calamari and mussels bianco are also preferred choices in the dining room.

The restaurant's entree menu boasts an assortment of generic Italian plates served up with a contemporary twist that attract diners time and time again. The chicken parmesan, served with a house salad and choice of pasta, is a classic favorite that's filled with flavor and is almost guaranteed to leave leftovers. If you're in the mood for pasta, the pesto marinara or broccoli garlic and oil are definitely worth a taste. A variety of veal, chicken and seafood platters fill the menu as well offering something appetizing for every palate. 

When dining with the family, don't worry about the kids. Villa Carmela features a special children's menu that gives options to the pickiest of eaters, like chicken fingers and spaghetti and meatballs. 

To give back to their patrons, Villa Carmela promotes weekly specials that simply can't be beat. A $6.95 lunch special offers a soup and salad with the choice of a personal pizza, chicken fingers platter or chicken, sausage, meatball or eggplant hero (beverage of choice included). Tuesday nights specialize in a price-fix menu for $18.95, including a special house salad, choice of beverage and choice of ten different entrees. Thursday is seafood night boasting a $16.95 dinner platter from eight different seafood classics.
