The highly watched Netflix show of 2020 captures us into the life and controversies of big cat zoos and wildlife sanctuaries around the world. The longstanding feud between Joe Exotic, the eccentric owner of the former G.W. Zoo in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, and Carole Basking, CEO of Big Cat Rescue in Tampa, Florida. Jeff Lowe took over ownership of Exotics zoo once Exotic no longer wanted possession. Lowes love for big cats is what brought him and his wife Lauren to Wynnewood Oklahoma to create the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park LLC in Wynnewood which is the largest privately owned exotic animal park in the United States which housed over 230 Tigers and Lions. Lowe now owns the name "Tiger King," as he is currently building his new park called, "Tiger King Park."

Jeff's Grandfather founded the Robbin's Brothers Circus in 1928. Later sold to Ringling Brothers where his Grandfather continued to work for years. Jeff has been around big cats since he was a a young boy which turned into a life long passion owning a zoo. Lowe started out in the entertainment business well before starting big cat zoos. He managed and worked with Robbie and Evel Knievel, as well as several other famous celebrities.
