3. A brand new weekly feature starts today on Patch to welcome summer. Patch Editors Nina Ruggiero and Emily Cappiello went to Ralph's Italian Ices to pick the first Patch Flavor of the Week. 4. Levittown's Tom Glenn, 34, will run 100 miles from Wantagh to Montauk on Saturday to raise $10,000 for the John Theissen Children's Foundation's back-to-school program. To read the story, click here.

The Division Avenue High School PTSA is holding a book fair at Barnes & Noble at 91 Old Country Road in Carle Place tonight from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Division Jazz Band will perform from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., DAHS artwork will be on display and the theater group will perform. Principal Francesco Ianni will even be working in the Starbucks café from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
