Levittown Baseball Parade

Levittown North Baseball Hosts 70th Annual Baseball Parade

This year’s parade was held on Saturday, April 14th, 2018 and it was by all accounts a tremendous success. This year the parade was hosted by Levittown North Baseball and ended at Whelan Field. The weather for the day was perfect for all the player families to come out of the house and support our youth and enjoy the beautiful parks the Town of Hempstead has prepared for our non-profit leagues to use. Legislator John Ferretti was among a plethora of dignitaries who along with Coach Steve Costello from MacArthur High School kicked off what looks like a promising season. Walter Hetzel, the commissioner of Levittown North Baseball, had this to say about the grand event, “This was one of the biggest baseball parades I can remember. The community that is building between the kids and the families through this sport that we all love is palpable. Hopefully, spring has finally arrived!”

Additionally, all are welcome to two upcoming MLB Pitch, Hit, Run competitions hosted by Island Trees Baseball 4/21 and Levittown North Baseball 4/29.
