Levittown Elementary Students Sport Wrinkles And Greys For 100 Days
The students also participated in 100-themed activities Friday.
LEVITTOWN, NY. — Levittown elementary schoolers reached the century mark Friday, as they came into school in their finest grey wigs and canes to celebrate their hundredth day of school.
The challenge given to Abbey Lane Elementary School students was to show up for school dressed in their best approximation of what a 100-year-old might look like. For some students, that meant curlers and canes. For others, it meant big cardigans and caps.
The 100-day milestone wasn’t just celebrated with a game of dress-up, as students also took part in a series of activities themed around the number 100. Included in that activity slate were dice-rolling to add up to 100, stacking 100 cups, and dividing candy canes into groups of 10.
