Levittown Fire Dept. Swears In New Chief, Officers

On Wednesday, ​Al Williams was sworn in as the 41st Chief of the Levittown Fire Department with his family by his side​.

LEVITTOWN, NY - There are some new faces at the Levittown Volunteer Fire Department. On Wednesday, Al Williams was sworn in at Station No. 1 as the 41st chief of the department with his family by his side.

Several deputy chiefs were also sworn in, including 3rd deputy Matt Angelletta, 2nd deputy James Behrens and 1st Deputy Michael Herold. All department officers and line officers were also sworn into office.

Outgoing Chief Seven Hervan was honored for his dedicated service and the community. Hervan also presented the new chief with his badges.
