Levittown To Hold Community Drug Forum
Community leaders will come together with the public to discuss how to tackle the heroin crisis.

Heroin use continues to grow among communities across Long Island. And Levittown has one of the highest overdose death rates in the county.
To help address this ever-growing problem, the YES Community Counseling Center is holding a town hall meeting on March 8 called Levittown TAlks. A panel of local government officials and community stakeholders will be on-hand to help develop a community response. The panel includes Senator Kemp Hannon, Assemblyman Tom McKevitt, Assemblyman David McDonough, Legislature Dennis Dunne, the Levittown Chamber of Commerce, Nassau County Police Department, the Levittown School District, St. Bernard’s Church, Wantagh-Levittown Volunteer Ambulance Corps., and YES Community Counseling Center.
The meeting will take place at the Levittown Memorial Education Center, located at 150 Abbey Lane at 7 p.m. For more information, contact YES Community Counseling Center at 516-799- 3203 or email info@yesccc.org. Let your voice be heard.
