Levittown Schools Welcomes New Teachers
These fresh faces will be in your kids' classrooms when the new school year starts.

LEVITTOWN, NY - From Levittown Public Schools: Forty-four new faculty members received a warm welcome from the Levittown Public Schools’ central administration and Board of Education during a two-day New Teacher Orientation program on Aug. 22 and 23, held at Levittown Memorial Education Center. The orientation program allowed the new faculty members to get acquainted with the district and their fellow educators before the start of the 2018-2019 school year.
Superintendent of Schools Dr. Tonie McDonald and Board President Peggy Marenghi congratulated and welcomed the faculty to the district as the group was introduced to Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources Debbie Rifkin, Assistant Superintendent for Instruction Todd Winch, Assistant Superintendent for
Business and Finance Dr. Christopher Dillon and board members.
The faculty members participated in an ice-breaker activity, a workshop that focused on expectations and learned about the background of the school district and Levittown’s history. Ms. Rifkin and Mr. Winch educated the group about district policies and Todd Connell, director/IT manager of computer and media services, discussed districtwide technology and the digital resources available.

school on Sept. 5.
