Levittown Students Tapped For HOBY Leadership Seminar
5 Levittown students have been chosen to attend the 2021 Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership Seminar.

LEVITTOWN, NY — Four Levittown sophomores will represent their high schools in a virtual format of the New York Metro Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership this coming June, school officials announced in a recent press release.
The students chosen to attend the seminar include Anna Herschmann and Maya Reetz from Division Avenue High School, Michael Cassano and Maya Zivkovich from General Douglas MacArthur High School. Alyssa Eisenberg will serve as MacArthur High School’s alternate representative.
The students were selected for their interest in community service, high moral character, and strong leadership skills, according to the press release. The seminar, which will be held over June 5 and 6, will "teach and empower the students to make a positive impact in their community and the world" and will give them "the opportunity to exercise their leadership abilities in personal and group settings, and connect with local community leaders through panels, discussions and presentations," the press release stated.
