LI Man Tasered, Arrested After Confrontation With Officers: Police
The man pushed an officer and got into a struggle with police that left one officer in the hospital, police say.
VALLEY STREAM, NY. — A Valley Stream man was arrested Tuesday evening after he was combative with police officers responding to a 911 call, police said.
Nassau County police said 28-year-old Ubaldo Arismendi Lagreca became combative with police officers while they were investigating the location of the 911 call and refused to comply with instructions. Lagreca also attempted to leave the scene and pushed an officer, which began a physical struggle, police said.
After a warning, Lagreca was tasered, police said. Lagreca then left the residence police had responded to, tried to enter a locked police vehicle and ultimately put his hand behind his back to be arrested, police said.
