Loaded Guns Found During Traffic Stop In Nassau: Police

EAST MEADOW, NY — A man was arrested in East Meadow on Monday afternoon with a pair of guns in his vehicle, police said.

Michael Biscardi, 22, of Selden, was stopped on Beech Street after officers spotted him going in the wrong direction, police said.

An investigation determined his 2016 Infiniti was unregistered and uninsured. The Pennsylvania registration was expired and issued to a 2001 Jaguar, authorities said.

Recovered from the vehicle were:

  • A loaded Ruger LCP .380 handgun with an extended magazine
  • A loaded Ruger 9mm handgun
  • Plastic bottles labeled Promethazine Hydrochloride and Codeine Phosphate

Biscardi was charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
