May 23: Monday Happy Hour, Learn to Knit

1. Are you getting ready to send your kids to college? The Levittown Library is having a senimar to help both parents and students learn the right questions to ask when going on a college visit. Head down to the library at 7 p.m. to take part in the discussion.

2. Mondays are always hard and rainy Mondays are much more difficult to get through. Never fear, Cue Nine is here. The billards hall and eatery is hosting happy hour from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Swing by after work for a drink and a quick game of pool to relax your mind before you head home.

3. Have you been looking for a new hobby? Try knit and crochet. The Island Trees Library is holding a session from 6:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. The fee is $5, but think of all the money you can save on sweaters and scarves.

4. In case you missed it: Island Trees baseball eliminated the Lynbrook Owls to move on in the Class B baseball playoffs. Follow all of the action to come right here on Levittown Patch.
