Meet Levittown's Newest Public School Teachers

LEVITTOWN, NY — Levittown's newest public school teachers have been welcomed to the district. The new staff members attended a two-day orientation program Monday and Tuesday at the Levittown Memorial Education Center, the district said in a news release.

The program was meant to help give them a smooth transition, getting acquainted with the district and the opportunity to meet their fellow educators. They learned about policies, procedures, payroll, instructional technology, the new teacher induction program and more.

Members of the district's central administration and board of education greeted the new teachers, who enjoyed a lunch together in the district’s outdoor learning center and took a bus tour of the district.
