Mercedez-Benz Stolen From Nasssau Repair Shop: Police

Craig Bilozur, who was charged for the Thursday morning incident, had also been arrested for stealing property on Wednesday, police said.

BETHPAGE, NY — A man stole a Mercedez Benz from Andy's Auto Repair shop in Bethpage, police said.

Craig Bilozur, who drove off with the vehicle, later fled on foot. A shop employee located the car on Hicksville Road near Edward Street. Bilozur was located a short time later near the intersection of Prairie Path and Farm Ranch Road East, authorities said.

The incident took place Thursday at 8:25 a.m. when Bilozur, 34, of Lindenhurst, entered the Mercedez.

Bilozur faces charges that include third-degree grand larceny and third-degree criminal possession of stolen property. He was previously arrested on Nov. 15 in Farmingdale on grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property charges.
