MOST WANTED: Have You Seen This Elf?
BREAKING: The 104-year-old mischief maker has been breaking into State Police stations, stealing candy and putting up holiday decorations.

Every Wednesday on its Facebook page, New York State Police release details on one of its most-wanted criminals. This week, police are asking for the public's help to find Trooper Elf.
According to the police, Trooper Elf, 104, is wanted for "Overall Mischief." Police say the elf, who stands a "couple inches" tall, has been causing mischief at police stations across the state.
"An investigation has revealed Trooper Elf, of the North Pole, has been visiting nightly, each time in a different part of the state. Stations have experienced missing candy and misplaced Stetsons, but have gained new holiday decorations and an overall festive spirit."

The mischievous elf weighs only a couple ounces and has brown hair and blue eyes.
The Facebook post has been liked more than 2,700 times and shared by over 2,000 ever-vigilant New Yorkers who are on the lookout for the fugitive.

It is possible that the elf will soon start to enter civilian homes. Police say that, if he is located, residents should thank him for spreading holiday cheer.
