Nassau County Pipes and Drums Band to Play at Inauguration, But They Need Your Help
The fire fighter band is looking for donations to pay for travel and lodging to play at the Jan. 20 event.

The Nassau County Firefighter's Pipes and Drum band was invited to play at the inauguration of Donald Trump on Jan. 20. But the band is seeking donations from the public to help them get there.
The band launched a GoFundMe campaign to help them raise the $10,000 they need to pay for lodging for the 40 band members, as well as transportation of the men and their instruments.
"We will be proudly representing the Nassau County Fire Service at this prestigious event," the organization wrote online. "We are very proud to be chosen for this honor and now need a little assistance with lodging for 40 plus band members and transportation, which is costly."
