Nassau Woman Stole $10,000 In Lottery Tickets From Employer: NCPD
The woman, who worked at a local Walmart, printed tickets for herself without paying for them, police say.

A Hempstead woman was arrested on Wednesday and charged with stealing thousands of dollars worth of lottery tickets from the Walmart she worked at.
According to Nassau police, the loss prevention manager of Walmart, located at 3335 Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown, was notified by the corporate office about discrepancies in lottery ticket sales, which occurred between Jan. 24 and March 20, 2018.
An investigation was conducted, and it was determined that Latricia Hawkins, 46, of Surrey Lane, was responsible, police say. According to police, Hawkins printed more than $10,000 worth of lottery tickets and didn't pay for them.

Hawkins was arrested without incident and charged with third-degree grand larceny. She was arraigned on Wednesday in First District Court in Hempstead.
