LEVITTOWN, NY. — Northside Elementary students got to book it Friday, as the Northside PTA hosted the annual book fair at Northside's gymnasium. The book fair included a wide selection of picture books and novels, district officials said, with selections for all ages available. Students entered the fair with a budget in mind, attempting to choose books that fit their price point in an exercise district officials said strengthened their financial literacy. Finally, the book fair also featured Valentine's Day trinkets that students could win, with one lucky student winning their choice of a poster that was being raffled off.
