Readers' Choice: St. Patrick's Day Specials in Levittown

Levittown venues are promoting the holiday in a festive fashion.

St. Patrick's Day is arguably one of the biggest party days of the year. With several local establishments serving up traditional Irish specialities, it will be easy to stick close to home this year.

: If you're looking for something different from the usual bar scene, check out Cue Nine Billiards Hall. At the bar, enjoy $4 Jameson shots, $5 Irish Car Bombs and $3 Guinness pints from 8 p.m. to midnight and from the kitchen, Cue Nine will be offering $10 corned beef and cabbage sandwiches until midnight. Patrons can also take part in the Lucky Shot Contest for a chance to win prizes and giveaways all night.

: This St. Patrick's Day, TGI Fridays of Levittown is whipping up special Irish margaritas mixed with Jameson. The restaurant also carries Guinness and several imports and domestic beers on tap.

: Miller's Ale House of Levittown is celebrating St. Patrick's Day all week long. Thursday morning, patrons can indulge in a traditional Irish breakfast to kick off the celebration and Saturday, a fundraising event hosted by Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano will raise money for Cycle for Survival 2012 in support of rare cancer research.
