The Levittown community recently visited the Levittown branch of Astoria Federal Savings to take advantage of their free paper-shredding event. Close to 1,500 pounds of paperwork containing personal or sensitive information was safely disposed of at the event, helping to safeguard against identity theft. Astoria Federal employees greeted arriving customers and community members and assisted in carrying their items to the shredder. The event was co-sponsored by Cintas Document Management.
