Freezin’ for a Reason, the Polar Plunge benefitting Special Olympics of New York took place this Saturday, March 1st and was a tremendous success. Lance Wolff, manager at Miller’s Ale House of Levittown NY led his team along with hundreds of other plungers and well-wishers into the frigid waters of Port Washington Beach Park in North Hempstead. Sincere thanks goes to Mother Nature who did not allow it to snow and to Lance and his Miller’s Ale House staff for their generous donations of time, money, and effort to this wonderful event.
